    Editorial policy

Equity Edge Lending Inc. publishes educational guides for homeowners in the markets we serve. We are a licensed brokerage, not a neutral publisher, and we state that plainly on every page. This policy explains what we will and will not publish.

    Who writes and who reviews

Guides are written by the EquityEdge Lending editorial team and published under the organisation's name. We do not invent human bylines, personas, or credentials.

Every published guide is reviewed by our licensed mortgage review desk before it goes live. Our company records are public: NMLS #2808857 and CA DRE #02423720.

    Sourcing

Substantive claims are tied to a primary source — usually the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, relevant state regulators, or the NMLS consumer registry. Each guide lists those sources and the specific claim each one supports.

We do not cite competitor marketing pages as evidence, and we do not present illustrative examples as quotes or offers.

    Claims we will not make

    • Funded volumes, client counts, ratings, or awards we cannot evidence.
    • Operating history longer than the company has existed.
    • Guaranteed approvals, rates, amounts, timelines, or outcomes.
    • Statements that a product is safe, risk-free, or right for everyone.
    • Credit-impact promises outside what the specific process supports.

    Updates and versioning

Every guide shows its publication date and the date it was last reviewed. Records are held in version control, so any change to a guide is traceable and reversible. Guides that are out of date are corrected or removed rather than quietly left live.

    Commercial disclosure

We earn compensation when a reader becomes a client. That is a real incentive, so guides are written to be useful even to someone who never contacts us: comparisons include the option of doing nothing, and risks are stated alongside benefits.

Nothing on this site is financial, legal, or tax advice, and nothing is a commitment to lend.

    Corrections

If something here is wrong, we want to fix it. See our corrections policy or email info@equityedgelend.com.
